Empowering NYC youth since 1884.
Madison Welcomes New CEO, Elaine Rocha
After eight transformative years of leadership, Tim McChristian will retire on September 30, 2025, leaving an extraordinary legacy. Under his guidance, Madison strengthened its programs, expanded its reach, and deepened its impact on thousands of young people across New York City. His vision and dedication have set a powerful foundation for the future.
We are proud to welcome Elaine Rocha as Madison’s next Chief Executive Officer. A proven leader with a distinguished career as a lawyer, corporate executive, and community advocate, Elaine brings both expertise and a deep passion for service. Her journey—from earning scholarships to The College of New Jersey and Seton Hall University School of Law to holding senior leadership roles at AIG—reflects her belief in the power of opportunity.
Elaine joined Madison on August 4, 2025, working alongside Tim to ensure a smooth transition. Guided by Madison’s mission, she is committed to building on Tim’s legacy, driving innovation, and advancing our vision for Madison 2.0: expanding opportunities, deepening programs, and empowering the next generation of NYC youth.
